Crusader - that will explain why I can't find it! I was looking just in Core and the Setting itself. While some of the Star Wars conversions use the SciFi Companion, this setting is pretty self contained. You can have edges from the Deluxe Core rules (except for those denied by the setting) or the Savage Star Wars setting itself but not the SciFi companion. You can build your character from any of the available species in the setting book. These species already include bonuses due to their race or origin world anyway. Sorry!

I may use the SciFi companion myself for certain situations that may crop up but only if there is no alternative already available in the core or setting rules.

Mike - that's correct, according to the setting rules, blasters only need to be reloaded or unjammed if you roll a 1 on your shooting die. Grenade launchers etc have to be tracked.

Why does my D20 only go up to 4?
