Turns out I came into contact with poisonous ivy while clearing garden over weekend. It is creeping over the back fence from an adjacent property, and like a fool I was tearing it out with my bare hands. Got some meds and hope to be back next week.

How did the one shot go?

So I have been thinking about this today, and I think I know why magic felt a bit "off" during this campaign. Rather than clerics/mages filling their inventory with dozens of one-use consumables, they should have bound each spell they knew to a single item/scroll, then decided whether they wanted to expend (1d4) HP, or burn/forget the spell when they cast it.

So, for example, there was a point when Andy (RIP) cast Barrier to create an ice wall to delay an ogre getting into melee range. The ogre smashed the wall, and Andy immediately cast the spell again. What (I now believe) should have happened, is if Andy wanted to cast Barrier multiple times, he would have had to expend HP to maintain useage of the spell, or cast it one time only at no HP cost, but lose the spell until his next rest.

I had not been planning to run EbtT again, but with this revelation, my enthusiasm is rekindled! Stay tuned! :D

There's an appeal.on the form but want to check if they have anything.they can give me as well.

mikeawmids - Thu 2 May - 18:18

I have sent a message to the Coronation Club FB profile asking what the appeal process is, just in case there is no-one on site tonight who can answer that question.

Sarge - Thu 2 May - 11:17

That was the last week of the rotation. Definitely challenge if you are sure you signed in

Just outside the car park now, there are still a few people from the wake at the moment

Should have read the posts below better. Looks like I'll be giving it a miss this week.

Did club indicate wake will go on all evening? Not a fan of gaming in the bar.
