I quite like this idea. I will put something together for Thursday.
So what I will do is.
People put names in hat.
Another person picks a name, and whoever they get decides their class for them. Race can be picked by the player and for stats we will go standard array.
And I may award bonus stuff for creative ideas
And as DM I use this power to convince everyone that candi should play a bard

On a scale of 1 to 10, how much regret do you have, Candi?
If you mean this Thursday I will not be there as I went swanning off to Liverpool for a week.
