You have received the following letter from the Archaeologist Guild.

Dear Adventurer

We have heard tell of you recent exploits and would like to offer you employment as we could use someone with your skills, we have
recently unearthed the entrance to a previously undiscovered tomb belonging to a ruler from the Xupan Empire who ruled these lands centuries ago, we want to send a team in to explore the tomb and would like you to accompany our group to help protect them against any traps that may have been set. If you wish to join this expedition please meet with Mia Noone in the village of Strave at Dawn 2 days after the harvest moon. We will provide equipment for the undertaking, including one magic item each to take into the tombs from a selection, food and lodging and payment of 500 gold pieces upon completion of the expedition, you'll also be allowed to keep the magical item.

This letter will arrive approximately 1 month before the harvest moon, what your character chooses to do with the information in it is up to you.

As adventurers who have been on enough adventures for people to take notice you can also have a +1 magical weapon that you found on a previous adventure.

How we doing characters?

I'm going with the point buy method for doing stats, beyond that anything in the core rulebook goes, nothing from Xanatha's and Tasha's unless you can bring your own copy if we need to look things up as I don't own a copy myself.
