System: Deadlands Reloaded (Savage Worlds)
Scenario: Roar! Hide!
Ref: Andy S (Antidog)
Rotation: 6 (October 2015)
Starting Level: Novice (but high end of that rank)
New Players: Some. See below.
Number of Players: 5
Special: This is a new adventure which follows on from the Miner Complication one earlier this year. Preference or first dibs will be given to the players from the first adventure to pick up the same characters this time round. That is Antonio Attano, Cobb Whateley, Bob Two-Feathers. And unless Rabbi Wolowitz is going to decide to not go to Peru because he'd rather play DLR, that leaves 2 spare places for anyone else wanting to join up!

Here is the usual Deadlands flavour blurb but I'm not giving any detail of the adventure yet as I don't want to spoil the surprises (and partly because I haven't written it yet!)

Some blurb:
Strap on your six-gun and saddle up, partner. There’s Hell to pay and the currency is hot lead!

The year is 1879, but the history is not our own. The guns of the Civil War are silent in a tense cease-fire. California is shattered by the Great Quake Quake of ’68, a superfuel called ghost rock revealed in the new channels and cliff faces. Powerful Rail Barons strive to complete a transcontinental railroad, and the Great Rail Wars exact a bloody toll in the Union, the Confederacy, the Sioux Nation, the Mormon state of Deseret, and the Independent Commonwealth of California.

The Tombstone Epitaph has always been filled with lurid tales of daring desperadoes and deadly drifters, but lately the West’s most-read tabloid claims there’s something more sinister stalking the frontier's lonely plains: monsters! Fortunately, where there are monsters, there are heroes. Squint-eyed gunfighters, card-chucking hexslingers, savage braves, and righteous padres have all answered the call. And if they fight hard enough, they might just discover the identity of the mysterious Reckoners some say are behind it all.

Have at it ladies and gentlemen...

Count me in! Cobb Whateley is ready to sling some new hexes at any ornery varmints that get in his way, and even inspire amorous behaviour in pigs (easy David!). Yha! Yha! Yog Sothoth ph'nglui ftaghn!

I've sent Mal a text to make him aware this has been posted, in case he wants to reprise his character.
