Its simple the way it works. I will send you a link which will connect you to the game I have setup (ensure you are logged in prior to following link). Going forward, your account will remember this so my game will appear on your home screen with a Join Game link.

There will be an online character sheet to fill in. As well as reference you use this to make the various rolls the DM asks for. There is an inbuilt 5e SRD, so a lot of info can be dragged and dropped directly from the SRD into the various sections on the sheet, like weapons, spells etc.. I suspect maybe half of the first session will be taken up with character gen and learning the interface.

It will be a learning exercise for me too, as it will be first time I have a ran a roll20 game

I'd definitely be up for it sarge. Never ran roll20 but do have an account, but would love to give it a try. Keep me posted. Same situation as Mike would need to look at how Skype works with it but have a computer so all good. Cheers mate.

I enjoyed last night. Thanks to Sarge for running it. I wasn't too sure to start with, filling in the character sheet on Roll20 felt kinda' awkward, but when we actually started playing I began to 'get' it. Looking forward to next session.

I was exactly the same for me Mike. From the 2nd session in is when I really started to enjoy the game.

Glad you enjoyed it mate anyway. Ade isn't around this week but we may still be able to play if others are up to it (new players are keen to join too)
