Why is it so brilliantly white?

It so white, I can’t see anything, it is so white it may as well be black! Thought Dave the Crow.

“Calm down Dave”

“Narr is that you”

“It is Dave”

“Where am I?”

“You are in the existentialist realm of the construct”

“What.... just hold on a bloody minute.. didnt we just go through all this?”

"Yes Dave."

“So this is back to Jebado, Issy, Maria, Flint, Ilias, Elias and that other hapless lot are on their own?” Dave Sounded a bit relieved.

“Not quite Dave. You remember we were discussing Omnism?”

“That bloody you are here, and there, and everywhere thing?”

“Yes Dave."

"Well you know GM from Maria's group, he's at it again, only this time its more serious.”

There was a pause as Dave considered 'serious' in the context of multiple versions of himself, multiple different DM's, multiple different types of DM's, the cosmic all, and how all that related to the mobius continuum, multiple realities and the effects on the larger continuity of the multiverse.

"OK."

"OK?" the Narrator sounded surprised, "you dont need me to explain anything?"

"Nope, its all OK"

The Narrator realised he should have moved, on, but he was puzzled about how the bird had rationalised all of this, "So tell me then Dave - how come your OK about all of this when previously you have nothing but questions?"

"Well I met this guy in the waiting room. you know the one before the light... He was reading this book about a load of mice who wanted to know the answer to the universe. apparently its 42."

"And you are OK with that?"

"Yup, sounds about right to me, they probably rounded it up for convenience."

"So you are ready then?

"Yes"

The bright lilght swirled and colours muted fiunally resolving to the inside of a building. Dave was sitting on a metal wire, below him several long papers seemed to hang on pegs from the wire. The Narrator continued..

"So this world is run by the original GM"

"The one without the sense of humour!?”

"Yes Dave, only he does have a sense of humour."

"Really?" Dave sounded a little surprised....

KABOOOOOM.... blam, blam, blam, KABOOM. Dave was thrown sides and up as the massive explosions tore the long papers to shreds, heat and the smell of cordite and burned feathers, mixed with smoke fom the explosions.

“What the bloody hell was that?" Dave squawked

"its the firing range at the training centrre for new Judges. you are now in the world of Judge Dread, a post apocalyptic setting where crime is rampant and enforced by ruthless Judges with ultimate power to hand out justice.”

"What like the DM?"

"Sort of, only they all play in the world set by the DM, and bring law to the lawless."

BOOM. KABOOOOOM, Blam blam blam

"Bugger this Nar, the only Lawless I like is Lucy, these folks can sort themselves out! I quit!"

As Dave faded out of this part of the multiverse, he could hear the DM laughing...

The Narrator shouted after Dave; "See he does have a sense of humour... its just the rest of 'em you need to worry about!"
