The Festival of the Rat
Annual celebration of the concord that protects the town of Khotan from doom
Miss Celia Roberts, native of Dundee, Methodist missionary
Her companion Miss Moira Abernathy is missing,
Abernathy went into desert five days ago to prove all this rat nonsense is heathen bunkum

The investigators agree to search for Miss Abernathy
Locals plead with them not to go into the desert
A valley of ancient ruins
Rats in the walls
The procession of locals in robes bearing offerings

Here come the devouring rats—and rat-things
Unexpectedly, Miss Abernathy’s voice
Having killed a rat-thing, Abernathy was given a stark choice by the Rat King himself- take the slain rat-thing’s place or condemn Khotan and its populace to doom
She chose to become a rat-thing-very sad, but what else could she do?
Talking of the magnificent Rat King—here he comes
Arsala shoots a rat-thing—if it dies someone will have to take its place
Desperate first aid—where’s a vet when you need one?

What shall we tell Miss Roberts?
Abernathy begs you not to tell of her true fate.

So, I'm thinking of running some Cthulhu next rotation (Rotation 4). I still fancy running Wicked City Berlin, I also have A Time to Harvest and at some point would like to offer Musketeers vs Cthulhu too (which is a bit niche but looks like good fun).

However, I was a thinking before doing something new, perhaps I should finish Children of Fear first. I kind of considered it dead-in-the-water because I left it too long to continue with. It was just over two years ago we started this. So this post is to gauge some interest. Would the existing players like to continue Children of Fear? Or has it been too long since we left off and therefore should we leave it and I'll offer something new instead?
