Howdy everyone!

Opening up a thread for some backstory and for character creation ideas :cheer: Sorry if this a bit of an essay!

Following on from the previous season: The story began with a rag-tag bunch of adventurers featuring a magical cactus-man hybrid, a mysterious dragonborn artificer from the orient, a knife-throwing smuggler from across the border, a rootin' tootin' shootin' sheriff, a mysterious signet wielding warlock and a fiery-tempered deep-gnome mage.

Two railroad tycoons; the much loved Reginald Miller of Redemption, and the industrious Clancy Fueller of Perdition led our adventurers through a plot of strange occurrences, the corruption of magic blighting the land, bringing vengeful ghosts back to the land. Something was afoot.

The group uncovered a plot that Fueller was using unnatural means to plague the land, to further his own goals which remain unknown to all but himself. They eventually encountered and defeated a hag by the name of Hilary Flora, who was spreading the blight.

6 months on, most of these adventurers have either retired or disappeared.. The land is slowly repairing itself, but there is still a strong corruption of magic in play.
Now a new band of adventurers enter Redemption seeking glory.

Characters will be starting at lvl 6, and have the choice of a +2 weapon, +2 armour or +1 of both (these will be handed out as blessings from the native tribe settled in Redemption due to the original party helping them in the last campaign)

Feel free to drop character concepts on here or general questions

In our first venture back to the town of Redemption, the party overhears the towns Mayor, Reginald Miller, talking about the sheriffs office being haunted by strange shadowy beings.

After an interesting interaction with a very tall looking humanoid who seems to talk from 'their' crotch, a 'serpentine lubricant' salesman, and a rootin'-tootin'-shootin' tiny monk man; the mayor agrees to offer free drinks if they can investigate these goings on. In the background, a little build-a-bear fanatic listens in.

The party find themselves trusting in the tall-mans extra pair of torso arms to get into the locked sheriffs office, when they encounter strange vine-like patches in the ground.

Suddenly, a little girl rushes in, throwing her teddies out the pram in the far corner of the building. These teddies take the form of a not-so-cute skeleton army.

The building reacts to the magic, and the shadows begin to pop out of the walls, alarming the party. Some take root in the vines, and begin to attack.

A roar of rage comes from the crotch of the tall person, as the legs suddenly dissappear. A goblin barbarian popping into the scene, leaving the torso and head to barrel down onto the floor.

As the fight continues, the head summons tiny flaming rocks, striking the gunpowder barrels in the armoury 'accidentally'.

The monk finds a strange magical Rimington rifle, and promptly blows holes into the shadows with it, and escapes with 1/3 of the tall person.

Suddenly the barbarian gets a great idea: bring the burning barrels into the street of Redemption, to save the office from blowing up (again!). While the building was mostly saved, the explosion took out a good portion of the building, and the 'bathhouse' next door, killing a few members of staff. Thankfully, due to the monks quick thinking, he fired in the air to get people away from the scene.

With the building in flames, Reginald inspects the damage, finding the casualties: a young girl, buried under a mountain of Teddy bears.

Distraught, the mayor sends the group out on a mission away from the town (and out of his hair) to one of the ore mines, sending one of his competent sharpshooters along with them.

During the journey, the party awaken to find a wounded man has dragged his dead horse to the camp, and the brainest goblin deciding to waste not want not, beating said dead horse for its meat.

Leo, the sharpshooter, finds out that the man was a miner, who said they were ambushed by a large group of men, he claimed belonged to Fueller.

The party reach the mines, to find no-one there. The gunner finds a strange chunk of ore, with whisps of Ghostly energy emenating from it.

[Thanks all for playing the first session! I hope you had fun! ]

There's an appeal.on the form but want to check if they have anything.they can give me as well.

mikeawmids - Thu 2 May - 18:18

I have sent a message to the Coronation Club FB profile asking what the appeal process is, just in case there is no-one on site tonight who can answer that question.

Sarge - Thu 2 May - 11:17

That was the last week of the rotation. Definitely challenge if you are sure you signed in

rhodsey - Wed 1 May - 13:36

Should have read the posts below better. Looks like I'll be giving it a miss this week.

Garuda - Thu 11 Apr - 17:36

Did club indicate wake will go on all evening? Not a fan of gaming in the bar.
