TOPIC: R3: Round Robin

D&D 5th is very popular at the moment and as a suggestion I would propose running this for the Round Robin. Don’t worry if you haven’t got the rules or a PHB. The last Round Robin taught all of us that story and content go much further than rules, and trust the players to know what they need to do.

The Round Robin remember is about new GM’s or anybody wanting to have a go at GM’ing, as well as experienced hands learning a thing or two off everyone else.

The game is set in the Viking times. You are raiders coming back after plundering Britain, your boat is filled with loot and spirits are high. An Unnatural storms rages punishing the raider’s boats and the fleet sinks. One boat returns to Kattegat, your boat and finds Kattegat is empty……..The rest is up to you.

Ideal 6 players (5 playing, 1 person GM'ing)
Maximum 7 Players (6 playing, 1 person GM'ing)

I'm confused. so does this Viking adventure exist? or is it to be invented by the first-time DM. i'd have thought they be better using a pre written one as a guide.

It is to be set by the first GM, and then the story follows on from there and each GM adds their own twist and flavour. This give GM’s the opportunity to plan and also think on the fly when needed. It worked really well last time.

Ah. OK, sounds interesting. Like a writers circle sharing chapters of a book.
