Special: All PCs are human... and French, no arcane backgrounds.

Paris, 1791. King Louis XVI and his queen prepare to escape the capital and the revolutionary crowds baying for their royal blood. You are among their closest friends and confidants, sworn to escort them safely to the eastern frontier.

No one would have believed that these affairs were being watched from the timeless worlds of space... and yet, minds immeasurably superior to our own regarded France with envious eyes....

And slowly, and surely, they drew their plans against us (well, against YOU, specifically).



So yeah, this is War of the Worlds set during the French Revolution. :D
