Across the kingdom of Leostein, rumours tell of a new settlement rising from the fertile northern valleys.

Quietdale, they call it.

A humble farming hamlet founded upon rich soil, clear water and the promise of honest prosperity. Merchant wagons already crowd the roads leading there, their owners eager to establish shops before the streets have even been properly named. Craftsmen, labourers and adventurers have followed, each hoping to carve out a place in a town where reputations have yet to be written.

At the heart of this growing community stand Lord and Lady Quietdale, generous patrons who have opened their lands to anyone willing to work for a better future. Under their careful guidance, Quietdale is becoming something rare in Leostein: a place where the forgotten may begin again, where the unwanted may find purpose, and where every willing hand can serve the greater good.

At least, that is what the wagons carry back.

Beneath the newly laid streets, far below the fields and cheerful market stalls, older foundations twist through the earth. In those lightless chambers, something else is being cultivated.

Not crops.
Not prosperity.
People.

And somewhere deeper still, behind walls that no mason remembers building, something small and hungry has begun to sing.
