Depends on the race - not lizard folk or trabaxi or any race that might automatically dodge the difficulties of travelling in Amazonian Chult.

What setting is this game in Andy?
I'm not very familiar with d and d settings, so I would appreciate a brief rundown.
Is there anything we need to know other than there is going to be much travel in hot climate?
You're on the other side of the rabbit hole. Now it's time to die.

So far we have:

Bane - Monk, possibly Gnome.
Mike - Ranger, Half Elf.
Ranger - Druid, Human.

The good thing about this scenario is that I can modify it to meet the party rather than saying you must have a Rogue or a Cleric. Therefore play whatever class you like.

I’m not giving too many more hints than I’ve already provided regarding the Amazonian like jungle, but consider:

Chult is a massive, mainly unmapped land. A lot of what you will be doing is exploration. As such, you will only have what you carry with you as you foray up to 500 miles from civilisation. The Druid will be helpful here - what if you run low on food or water? A Cleric is never a waste of a character.

Oh and there are a LOT of undead roaming the area....

BTW - you are starting in Waterdeep and the first couple of weeks will be on something I have written to get you started.
